A quick question if I might.
You state that "Frequency is logarithmic".
Could you expound a bit more on that?

Thanks JJ

Perhaps this chart helps demonstrate how frequency is logarithmic? Each octave doubles the frequency - it is not a linear relationship.

Any chance The Gadget could be offered as software for a Mac and PC?
@Baldr and @Jason Stoddard answered this one before with a big no.
They don't want to go into the snake pit that is called software on a pc or Mac and all the support hassle that goes with it.

Although I know the chance of this happening is very slim, but they could partner with some company like Roon and do something similar to what they did with Audeze and provide a preset for DSP. The only thing would be roon charging some amount extra for this feature.
This way roon would to the SW side of the business.

I wonder whether Mike would license his math to other companies to put into their products. I doubt it.

I moderate my previous post with a caveat regarding mobile: if Mike were able to do an all in one battery or gen5-USB powered digital signal processor/multibit dac/amp, for $599 (I believe what the mojo goes for), or even for $849, the Chord would become a remarkably poor value proposition by comparison. The $2000 portable dac/tube amp that woo has would become the more ridiculous.

I thought they couldn't do The Gadget on a general purpose computer because it barely runs fast enough on a dedicated DSP chip.

Someone should probably start some sort of spreadsheet to track this..
