Hi all

New to the forum - loving it!

Please may I ask for some advice:

I have recently broken my beloved Westone UM2 which I have had since 2007. Replacing the foam tips the whole 'pipe' broke off. Gutted - so I need a replacement.

I've read mixed reviews about the Westone UM Pro 20 and also the Pro 30, and of course many more IEMs have come onto the market since 2007.

I like the sound signature of my UM2s so if I can improve on that (quality-wise) then I'd be open to a different brand, but I do have some loyalty for Westone.

I am happy to spend up to, say, $400 given than $299 back in 2007 is about the same as $400 ish now.

I listen to a huge range of music from rock to jazz to classical and I am using an Audioquest Cobalt DAC at the moment whilst on the move.

Sound-wise, I like a neutral to warm sound but I like dynamics and a tight bass. My home hifi is a Densen DM-10 amp into Dynaudio Contour 1.3 speakers.

Specific questions, if it's easier:

1. What are the UM Pro 20s like (compared if possible to the UM2)
2. What are the UM Pro 30s like (compared if possible to the UM2)
3. Any other suggestions for the same type of sound for about $400

Thank you!

Best wishes
HariV
