Hi,

My clear cable has gone green on my UE10-Pro's. Although, apparently this does not effect the sound, I am tempted to re-new the cable from a cosmetic point of view. Has anyone tried the Westone cable with UE10-Pro's, since I would be interested to hear their impressions - sort of pun here.

I am assuming that the Westone cable will fit the UE10's and I may be wrong.

If I replace the cable with the stock UE cable, has anyone any suggestions as to what color would go with clear UE's rather than another clear cable, which I guess will discolor again in time.

Cheers

John

brown could look quite cool with it.. sorta vintage...

I've read of people doing it, but some trimming needs to be done.. the prongs on the connector are different from the UE to ES cables... if i'm not wrong..

ES2 Cable with UE Q&A

you might need to do a lot more than simple modding - i think the socket for the cable is slightly recessed into the customs? if so then the ES2 cable plug needs to be shaved down the sides too.

yeah if I remember correctly, these mods for the ES cables onto UE products is for their universal IEMs...

The UE cables are diff from customs to universal if I'm not wrong.
