I purchased my pair of Westone 3s in December 2008, and because of the cable coming unbraided I sent them in for RMA in late June 2009. Westone's service was very good during the whole process and quickly mailed me a new pair.

Now, I have recently noticed that the slider no longer holds the cable; I twist it but it seems the plastic isn't strong enough to hold the cable and the slider becomes loose and slides down to the Y.

So, what should I do to fix this issue? Has anyone else experienced a similar problem?

My original pair were the same way. I assumed it was poor design. I just had to send them in for service and received a new pair in return. The slider is much tighter on the replacement pair I received. Contact Westone and get them repaired/replaced.
