How come no one recommends the Audio-Technica ATH-A500 Art Headphone , do they require a amp? Would this be a good choice for it`s price?

What do you think of these compared to the Alessandro MS 1?

I need to pick which ones to get on April 2nd and i dunno between MS 1`s or the A 500...

Which are better soudn wise?

The A 500 look sturdy, but the thing that worries me, how long would the pads last? and what if i ened replacement ones?

A500 is a very good phone at 100.00. You can't really go wrong with it. Of couse, if you don't mind open, I would recommend Sony MDR-CD780.

Hmm, I think I just recommended this phone to two other people. Check other people's postings.
