Any ideas there? Had to give away k612s as had a bent 3.5mm plug. At least with k712s that won't be a problem, I hope! They seem pretty similar, anyone who has had one chime in! A bit more expensive of course, just for the replaceable cable! Which is total bullocks of course, too cheap..they should all have mini-xlr cables or something. Those 3.5mm jacks just break too easily! Still a big fan of akg, have akg k271mkii's here, and had earlier versions as well. As well as the k612's which I gave away. All great cans! But at some point, can't hear the difference for a few dollars more! Oh well and on hd600's which are supposed to be the bee's knees! Good but nothing amazing!
