i have ordered a pair of the ety's 6i's from amazon (total of $54, used gift card) and i am still a little unsure about them. is it possible to use a bigger tip and not put it in so far inside your ear? putting it deep and the only worry i have. any suggestions or tips about using them and fitting them comfortablely would be greatly appreciated,
thanks again head fi for tempting me to spend more money

I've now used the foam ear-tip, that come with the 6i, instead of the triple-flange. I only have to push around half of the ety 6i with foam to get better seal then fully insert 6i with triple-flange.( I'm not sure if I've used the triple-flange in the right way, but I push it in so deep I guess that I didn't feel too comfortable using it anymore).

And pulling out 6i with foamy is becoming so much easier also, just with a gentle force is enough.

So, just try both the triple-flange and the foamies, and then decide which one suits you more.

moisten tri-flange a little, you'll find it's easier to put it to your canal. But foamie is better than tri-flange overall IMO. Anyway, if you find that both tips can't fit your ears, contact to ety's customer service to get bigger or smaller tips for your ears. Hope u get fun.
