Has anyone else experienced this madness?! I feel like I need to enter a program for money management.

I am terribly interested in purchasing the Ether Flow headphones. I mean, $1800 is a ridiculous amount of money to spend! Yet I'm in this mode of audiophile fantasy.

All I can say is, after 127 posts and five months, welcome, once again, to head-fi!  We meant it when we said we were sorry about your wallet. Res ipsa loquitor.  --)

To some it is ridiculous to others not so much. I'm in the not so much category as I'm way down the rabbit hole. I'm seriously thinking of turning my C's to Open Flows. I would like to hear a pair that were burned in though as both at the Chicago meets were not they still sound great but would like to hear them as they would be.

I don't think it's crazy. If I wasn't in college I would probably have a $2000-2500 setup. But for now, mine is around $800, which is still insane to many people.
But then again, all of my friends say I'm crazy. :p

I'll put it this way: look around you and tell me what you need more: the Ether Flow, or ammo, MREs, water filters, and body armour.

Don't feel bad.  I'm thinking of spending mine on a Bimby / Lyr 2 stack.  I have the HD700s... or maybe an Ayre Codex... or maybe a Schiit Stack and some HD800s headphones.... AGH!
