Want new cans to complement W5000's

In my home rig I am very happy with my W5000's but I would like to get another pair for a change of pace. I'm thinking of an open pair like the HD650's because sometimes the power of the Cary amp and the wooden closed earcups on the W5000's makes me feel sonically claustrophobic.

Any other suggestions besides the 650's for a change of pace?

BTW, I listen to all kinds of rock, blues, jazz, metal, alternative, electronic ... everything from Sigur Ros to Ray Lamontagne to Opeth to Patty Griffin to Lamb of God. About the only thing I don't listen to is much classical. (Maybe that will come later).

i definitely think the hd650s or hd600s would be a great complement to the w5000s and would really work great with the cary. they wouldn't be a huge reach though.

i think grados (RS1, for instance) would be more of a stretch (but also in a good way). these phones are said to be the best with rock. i think it just depends on which ways you want to complement.

I had the RS1 and could never get used to the way they fit. They were great for rock but I prefer more comfortable cans.
