Some ****** complained about the faulty SD Card from CKLewis and asked Ali for a partial refund, they should be happy they even got that.

I paid for my Walnuts before 10 February and on 10 February CKLewis marked my items as discpached and now 15 February the tracking shows ready to be picked up for shipping.
Wondering if they were really sent or not.
Also contacted the seller to clarify the situation.

Be prepared to wait 60 days and you may get surprised.

If you are gonna leave it like that with those long leads on the caps, i would very strongly suggest putting heatshrink or electrical tape over the leads.

Like @peter123 i keep putting a v5i in one of my walnuts. I dont think it is the very best application of that opamp, but it undoubtedly sounds excellent and has great dynamic range.

 Same as how i've labeled the one above, basically any non-TI branded NE5532 sounds the same to me so far.
 
My other favorite I ripped out of a dead CD player I liked. I can't find anywhere to possibly buy it anymore.

FYI, I am having the same microsd card issue with the Walnut from CKLewis Audio Store as many other buyers from this store. The Walnut itself works fine and I am really happy about it, but the card is not 8 gigs, I can write 8gigs but can only read about 400 megs in the beginning. I originally thought that the Walnut itself was faulty because it could not play the wav files which I put on the card, but then I swapped the card and the problem disappeared.

On the one i fully formatted and was able to copy almost a full 8gb to, it cuts off at about the 3gb mark. My potato brand SD that came with my very first walnut, on the other hand, has been fully written to several times and still works a charm. Using it now, even.

My SD card is also fine, got the walnut early. My guess is they replaced regular SD card with fake one once the amount of orders rised in order to save some cents? Pity... Would be nice to have a naked walnut with no accessories to order as in the taobao store.
