  What tips are you rocking?
Pretty much looks like one of my daily setups haha, iPhone 5s I assume?

Um. I believe these are the Spinfit Tips. I purchased them several days ago just to see what the fuss was all about with the tip moving in a 360 degrees motion.

And yes, iPhone 5S. I also have a CMOY that I carry with me and use pretty often. I plan on picking up a Note 4 sometime soon for the external storage. What's your daily driver like?

Crunchy and detailed with guitars ineed. I don´t listen much to violin.. so i won´t comment on that.

Right earpiece died only after 3 months of use. Very disappointed.

Lacking strain relieves is a major flaw on this iem. Need some babying for sure.

No idea, I was using them and all of a sudden the right earpiece cut out. I've babied the pair extensively and they've shown no signs of cable damage or wear.

Nice video Tom, i agree with you on the sound. It´s like a mix between the B3 and vsd3s and KC06 in some way Very enjoyable to my ears.

ahh i like the way you put that, thats very concise! sadly i haven't had a chance to try the kc06 as of yet, so i can't confirm that!

but definitely a mix between a vsd3s and b3!

wish it came in a different colour though (or at least more colours, like the vsd3s) that tinted, smoky grey isn't really my cup of tea.

Yeah it´s a rather bland look. Various solid colours would be a good option. I don´t really like the see-through look of the vsd3/5 series. It makes them look extra cheap

haha thats why the vsd3s comes in the solid black! 
 
but all preference i guess, the  see- through design was actually one of the reason why i was interested in the vsd3s in the first in place

Yep pretty much exactly like one of my daily setups, are those Japanese or HK Spinfits? Basically only diff is softness or hardness of the tip, Japanese Spinfits are very soft
Try pulling the tips all the way to the base of the IEM and report back

UPDATE: After three months of daily usage, I'm losing signal to the left side. The problem is actually the headphone jack. I guess I'll have to terminate it and resolder on a new plug when I get the time. 

Conclusion: VSD5 sounds great after you get use to the sharp highs. However, it durability is the real issue.
