  Any developments on how the vsd1 se behave?

I use them every day, and for me they still are an amazing bargain. I've compared them with the GR07 face to face,, and, may be the GR07 is a bit more precise (you have to look for subtle details to notice the differences) and equilibrated. Bass notes have more impact in the VSD1 SE (but may be with a bit less extension) and treble is a bit softer and darker than in GR07, SE is also less sibilant (as treble is not as present as in GR07). For me, i still prefer the slight coloration of the LE than the additional precision of the GR07.

GRRR!!! Just got one as well. Hope they have like 80%+ of the sound of the upcoming VSD7s.

  Thanks for the responses. I will be passing on the LE since it's still 80% of the GR07 sound, which I already have. I think if you want the exclusivity of owning a 1/1000 unit or if you have yet to own one of the VSD1 variants and want an amazing IEM then this offer is worth jumping on.

Well, I don't know about that. While there isn't much incentive to own both the VSD1 and VSD1S coz they aren't that different, the Limited Edition supposedly is. According to the Vsonic's CEO the VSD1LE has been tuned like VSD7 and in a way is a demo version of its sound.

Wow, only 1 left and 4 sold in 1 hour All are gone. I have to admit that initially I kinda felt bad when I missed the headphoniaks' initial sale on the Limited edition coz I just got very drunk and overslept and I just missed it. But it turned out it was for the better with the cheaper ebay offer and my buddy Alcohol saved me money yet again.

^ Welp if the father had injected his secret sauce into this bugger then it might be pretty damn amazing. And i really like that i can wear these down instead of overs ears (i am probably the few that have no problems wearing it as it was "intended"). 
 
Can't wait for Vsonic's upcoming lineup, though their flagship models are getting crazy spendy it seems, so hopefully these VSD1 Limited Editions can hold me over for the long haul.

LOL I'm just sharing what Vsonic's CEO said - that his father has tuned it, that it is tuned like VSD7 and that it's a good way to demo the VSD7's sound. He also said that people should give it not 100 but 200 hours of burn-in and they will be surprised.
