IMO gr07x are better... and two times cheaper.

with all tge time I spent using GR09, I think it is just differently tuned GR0x iem. Nit necessarily better ir worse. To me it's just a warmer flavor to my GR07C.

I own both, GR09 and GR07X. GR07X are more fun and more engaging but I wouldn't say they are better. GR09 are more refined and overall more reference sounding. Subbass is better, vocals are more natural and highs have better texture. They have slightly better resolution as well. The only thing that GR07X do better than 09 is depth. My 09 have more than 200h play time but I'm not sure they are fully burned in. Also I'm still searching for a better synergy than DX200. I'm going to try NW-WM1A this week.

GR07X are still my favourite daily phones and they sound fantastic paired with my S8.

You must not be getting a tight seal on GR09. I find GR09 has more bass than GR07C

gr07x are pairing very good with almost everything but gr09 are not so universal

gr09 are more analitical and not forgiving

with my dx200 gr07x is better choice

for that reason for me gr07x are better

of course objectively gr09 are technically better

I feel the same. LendMeUrEars still haven't gotten any stock in it seems, I believe they were expecting some in june or july last I heard, they have a demo unit in their shop but I guess that's about it. Are they perhaps that limited so far?

They don't have a GR07X as well. I'm looking for 1 in black. But Vsonic seem out of stock on the black GR07X.

True, I think LMUE have had the GR07X in stock to and fro, I know it was missing in the past and then came back, now gone again. I guess PenonAudio still have GR07X in stock if you're interested, last I checked anyways.

That's not an issue with resellers like penon, just vsonic doesn't make a black one anymore.

Man, am I glad I jumped on the Lyras rather than waiting on these. And all technical advancements and balanced cables aside, I still prefer my wife's Classics to my all-but-neglected 07Xes.

looks like that is the case. Vsonic removed the black color option on their official store on AliExpress. Anyway, I decided to settle with the red color and ordered one while they are selling the X with discount at the moment.
