Thanks for the news.

But IMO, the GR07X needs an interchangeable cable more than it needs an interchangeable jack. Long term durability has always been an issue with fixed cable earphones, and I've not had a pair that lasted longer than 2 years.

The vsd3s original is a bad example of what you mentioned. Prioritizing Interchangeable cable over a decent jack

Im more on the either companies make:

1)better secure interchang 2 pin cables (because s mmcx can be done badly like the onkyo fc300, or vsds3)

2) or make well constructed andrelieved fixed cables like the rha earphones

Definitely agree. I'd love to see Vsonic put out a great earphone with a Sony EX1000-inspired screw-on MMCX cable, that securely locks into place and won't allow any movement. Or something similar.

I just sent my GR07 MK IIs to BTGAudio to be recabled with a removable cable. Mine have been broke since february. Cant wait to get them back. There's nothing quite like a good pair of portable audio gear. I could live withoutnheadphones but not without something for on the go.

This. Strain relief is pretty much nonexistent... No wonder so many GR07s have broken cables. What's the point in having interchangeble jacks if your cable is going to break in 2 years if you use it a lot?!

My GR07Classic finally broke after 10 months. I really enjoyed the sound and the amazing sound-stage. Now I need to order a new one. Or can somebody recommend one with similar sound signature and soundstage?  With reasonable price, 100~200$. Thanks

The CKR9 is like a GR07 with more depth. Very highly recommended. The CKR9 was the IEM that led me to sell my GR07 and it's come down in price quite a bit.

Thanks. I thought CKR9 is more like V-shape sound compare to GR07c. Am I wrong?  I'm also looking at the MEE Audio P1. Do you have any experience?

I wouldn't say it's V shaped, no. There's more subbass vs the GR07 classic, but other than that they're very similar. The 1-5k regions are almost identical with the CKR9 having a little more 2k energy and air to it.
