For those of you who have the GR07s, would you buy them again?
 
I am contemplating purchasing some GR07s from "[size=small][size=small]lendmeurears[/size]" [/size]on ebay from this link, but want to make sure they are legit first.

Then again, should I wait for the GR08s if I listen to mostly country and rock?

People have had good experiences with them.
 
And well, nobody has heard the GR08 yet, and we believe it'll cost somewhere around $400, so if you're willing to pay that much then by all means you can wait.

Lendmeurears is legit, and so are the GR07's. They do very well with the aspects involved with those genres and are very capable in general. On the other hand, do you have any specific sonic preferences or dislikes?
 
The GR08 is likely to cost significantly more and there's no set release date. No one would know the sound to say you should wait anyway.

Thanks. Just making sure the eBay is legit as far as sales go for warranties and such.  
 
As far as 400$, that would be pushing it for sure. Let alone, the price of GR07s is pushing it to me. Then again, I am sort of cheap. Haha.

Thanks. I just wanted to make sure the sale was legit before getting into something without asking/researching before. I may have a low post count, but I like to lurk/read more than post.
 
What do you mean by "sonic" preferences?  I can be somewhat of basshead, but not extremely overpowering. I asked something in the Seeking Guidance thread and recommended the GR07s as an option if I chose to go over 100$ based upon country/rock. My biggest things is these will be used for travel on airplanes, etc.

Good to hear. That helps a lot. There appears to be a wide variety of some IEMs that only good one genre when compared to others. Just trying to find something that is worth the cost in comparison to the sounds they produce.
 
After all, I am moving to Northern California in June and the potential for lots of travel is going to develop.

They have a good quality bass, nice sub-bass but no boosted mid-bass, pretty flat in that region to my ears. If you mean in that for the bass drum and bass guitar for rock/country, you'll be happy with the quality, realism, and accuracy. I find them to be very accurate. Vocals are fantastic too. They isolate pretty well especially for a vented design, but not the best isolation I've heard.. or haven't heard haha.
 
For what it's worth, I watched a couple of episodes of Firefly with them, which has a country/western-esque soundtrack and it sounds great. Makes me want to listen to the genre more lol.
