Volume settings question [M audio Revolution]

What % should i have the software setting at [master volume and wave volume] with the revolution, playing songs via coolplayer heading into my CHA 47 amp at?

100% i presume?

ya. unless you notice clipping problems 100% would be your best choice.

I've heard it's better to keep the software setting at around mid point and use your amp's volume control.
