I recently bought a pair of M80s. Sound quality wise it is excellent. However, I've noticed when I walk around with the M80s on there is occasionally a slight static noise coming from the right side. It's not glaring but still fairly noticeable. As I as I sit down and listen the static noise disappears. Has anyone experienced this problem and/or should I be concerned about this?

Have you tried another cable? Either the other speakeasy cable it came with or another audio cable? To determine if it's the cable or the unit itself. Have you tried plugging them into another source to see if it helps?

I've had my pair for a month and haven't experienced any static sound when moving around or outside, just microphonics with the cloth cable rubbing on my clothes. However, different sources do give different sounds; laptop will give a constant hiss sound, Sansa Clip + will give a sound when skipping tracks, while my Sansa Clip regular and Samsung Galaxy are just fine.
