Vision Ears and Rhines Custom Monitors (formerly Compact Monitors)

Thanks for the recommendations. The CP145 is one I haven't tried that stands out. I hadn't considered it because the largest size of Spinfits that come stock with the Elysium are weirdly small. Or ill-fitting. Been a while since I tried them. But I checked it out and the CP145 could work.

I may be in between sizes when it comes to Azla, if that's possible. The Xelastic are definitely good while they last but I agree they're problematic enough that I coulsn't use them long-term.

For the more obscure brands that offer expensive tips - and only one pair or multiple of the same size - with no measurements whatsoever... not sure what to do with that. Like Eartune and these Flare ones.
Flare tips come in 3 pairs in each set.

Apologies for the x-post, but I wanted to make sure you all saw this as @doctorjuggles deserves the recognition.

I’ve been meaning to post pics of this gorgeous cable for awhile and am just now getting around to it.
This beaut is courtesy of @doctorjuggles. Type 6 litz, 6N pure silver, 23.5 AWG. I could not resist including a close-up pic, just to highlight the quality of the wire. Of course, the craftsmanship is second to none - this is a given! For the hardware, I chose Plussound rhodium-plated 4.4mm termination and 2-pins, as well as a matching Y-split and slider.
Sound is incredible - but I am partial to the sonic qualities of silver over copper in general. Won’t go into the details, but pretty much improves everything IMO - tighter, more well extended bass, mids are as lush as ever, treble is smooth as a baby’s as*. Stage is nice and wide (although not super wide - Erkly is overall a fairly intimate-sounding IEM). A++ work by the good Doctor, and at least on par with Norne Silvergarde 8-wire, if not a touch preferred. That is high praise!

Thank´s in advance

Been getting some nice weather here in the UK over the last couple of days so thought I would take advantage of the situation…

I wish I had given in earlier to try out the Elysium
the praises about the midrange and treble are on point

Love the thin profile and how easy it fits in my ears

Also the Leo/Thor silver sounds fantastic with both the Meister and the Elysium!

Hi,

Opened an account recently, yet I have spent some good amount of time, on and off, reading into posts on threads about earbuds and in-ear monitors.

Started from V-Moda and Sennheiser earbuds, then Dunu (Titan 5) and KZ (AS10), and later made the transition to mid-fi and flagship in-ear monitors.

Having added the VE8 (8th Anniversary edition universal-fit with customized Blue Bermuda faceplates, since April 2021) as my third flagship iem purchase, I think its seamless and emotional presentation of the music is a great way to relax and enjoy the music.

After having spent another hour of listening to VE8 with a new cable last night, I think the VE8 pairs fairly well with CEMA MS copper cable, which I feel gives vocals a closer presence.
