I've never heard Erlky (sadness) but I think my favorite Andro pairing is probably still the PAW S1. (It still sounds amazing with M8 though.)

A lot of people love the M8. I am totally in love with my DX300 with AMP12. But, I need to know what that M8 sounds like. I guess I need to test all of the Android DAPs.

I got out my MEST OG this week and paired it with DX300 + AMP12 + C9 and it was fantastic. Good enough to get some starter minutes every week again. It really highlighted the great imaging and sound stage of the MEST. Guitar was sublime.

I've never heard the DX300 but based on what I've read the M8 is more musical (and musical is probably the single best word to describe the M8) and the DX300 is more technical and analytic.

Edit: And I don't keep track of the different amp updates for the DX300...for all I know one of them could make the 300 sound like the M8.

Imo the 2020 model (or solid-body as it’s now called) sounds the best. Probably will be the easiest to find for a decent price and sell quickly if it’s not your thing

OG for the treble, 2020 for the mids, MW10 for the lows.

My personal fave is the 2020.
