Thanks bro! So far so good, definitely among the best sounding IEMs I’ve ever tried. I have a small issue with the supplied Spinfits though, it appears that they come off easily from the nozzle (I suspect the silver material makes it more slippery). So I had to switch to the Symbios as they have tighter grip. The Symbios actually make the sound more open, yet still buttery smooth.Congrats bro! Looking forward to your impressions![]()

Yeah lol they sometimes slip off and get stuck in my ear. Actually haven’t tried the Symbio’s on the Erlk yet, I’ll try them out tooThanks bro! That’s the scary part! I always got panicked whenever the tips got stuck in my earsYeah lol they sometimes slip off and get stuck in my ear. Actually haven’t tried the Symbio’s on the Erlk yet, I’ll try them out too
congrats, @normie610 !
i love setting 1 (a complete bass monster) and 2 (best overall tuning from an iem i've heard to date.)
i've also had the tip thing happen a few times...it's because there's no "lip" to keep them from sliding off. i switched to a smaller bore tip and haven't had that problem happen since. i always keep tweezers with my iem stuff...just in case.
happy listening!

Thank you. From Johannes when I asked him about custom tips for the ERLKöNIG:
“ The length is 5mm from tip to the edge that is meant to stop the spinfit. The diameter is 6mm. But we are using an inner diameter of 5.5mm for the Spin Fits in order to have a good grip.”

I’m gonna tip-roll some more to see whether there’s a pair that won’t slip easily. And I’ll have to remember to pull the erlky out of my ears more slowly, just in casecongrats, @normie610 !

Seems basic, but I also sometimes forget to clean the sound pipe. Oil from my skin can make it slippery.
Happy to join the club!
#43 arrived in the mail today. Playing around with settings 1 and 2 so far...super early, of course, but initial impressions:
-stage is super expansive
-very lush mids
-bass is fast and tight...setting 1 seems to fit my preferences more, but may land on 2 since I have other IEMs to scratch my basshead itch
-fit is amazing - probably the best fitting IEM I’ve ever tried
-build quality is impeccable!

Awesome! Glad to see another member of the ERL club. Try some Chick Corea if you can. The ERLK is a great match for his music. Enjoy!Happy to join the club!

I can’t get this iPhone to focus if my life depended on it but here’s some pictures of the limited dragon skin erlkonig faceplate. The pictures really don’t do it justice.

#6 of 25 checking in. Agree with @aaf evo, the faceplates are gorgeous and pics don’t do them justice....they look fantastic with the LE’s black shell.
