I have heard people level the same criticism at the Ittok on the Lp12 but I have also heard of people fitting an OL Silver so I don't know. Have you tried any other arms on the TD125. I was thinking about checking out the Hadcocks and the Ittok?
If you want to try out the rega you will need a washer with the same sizes hole as the rb250 to fit the SME hole in the armboard and it helps with the VTA if it's about 3mm thick. VTA on rega is a pain.
