Anyone know any great places to buy vinyl in Philly. I used to know about 20 years ago, but...

Please let me know!

Yes, thanks for the story. I did a post a vinyl asylum and someone reminded me of the shop I was thinking of. It was th Third Street Jazz-Rock Shop at Third and Market streets. What a shame. That was a great shop. I guess it's off to NYC.

Regarding that story again, I had to notice this:

"Take, for instance, record collector Joe Fidure. Fidure isn't into it for the money, but for the sentimental value. Fidure, and many like him, are getting back into vinyl simply to replace what has been lost over the years. Not to mention a few whiffs of memory lane heaven. "Vinyl just has a certain smell to it," said Fidur"

Is it just me, or do others find records fairly odorless?

Just take a whiff of the old records in my folks basement--they have a nice moldy odor. Not something I like to sit and sniff.
