Vintage thorens parts

I'd often wondered about that. They do seem to have a few spare parts listed for the more recent decks but don't mention whether their belts are branded Thorens either.
For belts I recommend http://www.turntablebasics.com, not always originals but good quality and they make a lot of effort to get a fit you are happy with.

Rolf ketch on http://www.theanalogdept.com/thorens_dept_.htm, which is a great rescource for Thorens, recommends 265-275mm (diametre) for the TD125. The higher number matches the Linn belt which is actually a good choice as it stresses the bearing less apparently.

In my experience, they'll respond to roughly one out of every five e-mails you send. I get the distinct impression that Alex Atelier mans all of the job positions at LPGear.

Otherwise, all of my orders have shipped in a timely fashion, and their prices were good. So, good luck! I hope he eventually responds about the Thorens parts.

It is worth it for me to buy a parts unit to cannabalize. You can find them cheap these days for most turntables.
