I don't know who here has ever heard of these or tried a pair. You old timers I'm sure will get a kick out of these.

My father has a pair like these (his was the pro series), I remember listening to them when they worked. He put them through some ruff use over the years. He had them now for well over 15 years, still work to some degree. Just need to giggle the cord a bit. When working, even now after all these years they sound good. Pretty comfertable, little on the heavy side. I believe on sale my father purchased them for a little over $60 bucks. This model happens to be $45 right now. I was amused to see that there still around. Man, you really can find everything on Google. lol.

In case your looking to purchase these or just wasnt to read more. This is where I found them. Offbeat Collectibles Website - Realistic Nova Pro Headphones

O.K. I'll admit it. I worked at a Radio Shack while going to college and sold some of these way back when.

Unfortunately, cannot remember anything special about this particular model.

RS had a lot of phones made for them thru an OEM arrangement with Koss. You look down their line of headphones, you will almost invariably find a Koss can that looks quite similar. The top sellers if I remember were 4/AAA Pro and HV/1a knock-offs.

RS had a top-end electrostatic (made for them by Koss) that was quite good. It was about a $100 cheaper than the comparable Koss.

I have a pair , and they are made by Stax not KOSS. Equal to the SR-3 or 4 but better looking by far . The step up is identical to the Stax unit but branded Realistic
