As of now, I know the PSP1000 and 2000 can be hacked, but the PSPgo hasn't been yet. Not sure about the 3000, haven't been keeping up with that.

So it's a potential fix, nothing solid? Any significant hardware differences btw 1/2/3000?

Right, as of now they haven't been able to put CF like the old ones.
I did a little more looking and it looks like they've got HEN and some homebrew running on PSPgo already, but not a true custom firmware.

As far as hardware differences, the biggest deal is probably the different screens. Some of them have had issues, such as ghosting, but they should be fixed by now. Battery life as well.
You should be able to find all of this information with a quick search around.

No old school Colecovision, Intellivision, Atari 2600, or Odyssey 2 players out there?
Man, I must be getting old.

Nomad FTW. although, I'm thinking about selling it

Well I used to play games on the Sinclair Spectrum. How's that?

Have a PS 3, Wii and Xbox 360... They all stink compared to my computer but oh well.

PS 3 have bluray, wii have innovative motion controllers. xbox 360 doesn´t really have any real hook except for Forza

Hooray, now here's a thread I can actually contribute to!

I currently own the following consoles:
  1. Nintendo Wii
  2. Microsoft Xbox 360
  3. Microsoft Xbox (used solely for XBMC)
  4. Sony PS2
Handhelds:
  1. 2x Nintendo DS Lite (one's actually my wife's)
  2. Nintendo Gameboy (officially my wife's)
  3. Sony PSP
  4. Dingoo A320
  5. GPH Wiz

The Xbox 360 is RRoD'd, but I'm getting a new one from a friend for fairly cheap.
The next gaming device on my list is definitely the Pandora. I'm probably gonna have to wait until the second batch though.

The Dingoo is actually supposed to be a pretty decent audio player, but I haven't tried that yet. I would assume that the PSP wouldn't do too bad either, but it's a little too bulky to carry around as a media player afaic.

In my cupboard:
Sega Megadrive, Mk1
Genesis Nomad
PSOne (portable version w/screen)
Neo Geo Pocket Color
Nintendo Gameboy (the flip-up one, can't think of its name. Bought it for 'Golden Sun')

I usually play on PC tho. But the great 16/32 bit Jap shmups are dear to my heart ( & never playing Radiant Silvergun is still a regret - but never figured out emulators: no techie, me).

But after all that, 'Bejewelled' is still best game ever! It's simplicity suits my few remaining braincells....

I've got an NES (the same one I've had since the 80s complete with GREY Zapper and a working R.O.B.), a Sega Genesis, PS1, PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, a Wii, and a DS.

The Genesis, PS1, and PS2 all work but are not connected. I still use the NES a ton! The Wii pretty much is never used and I'm thinking of giving it to a friend on permanent loan.

My very first system was the Sega Genesis, i loved that console. I also enjoyed the Super Nintendo a lot, but never got around to owning one.

I mostly play PS3 now.

Own none but I seriously am contemplating to get ps3 so I can get my hands on uncharted 2, killzone 2, metal gear solid 4, ssf4, ff13 or 14 I don't know since I never played ff franchise, and a few other console-exclusive titles.

Actually FF13 is on Xbox, but FF14 will not be. Either way i'd get a PS3 over an xbox any day.
