I am looking towards some Ultrasones, I've never used this brand before though. I was recommended the HFI-580. I am torn between the 580 and the Shure 750DJ. Detaching cord and overall comfort is vital, but obviously so is sound quality. I've a max budget of $125.00

Any ideas for a set of comfy closed backs for this price? I already own the Denon D1001 and Shure 440, both of which I dont really use anymore due to the sound quality just not to my liking.

Listing the kind of music you like might help.

I hear the total opposite about Ultrasones. People say the Shure 440 and 840 are COMFY!!! but they really are not. So im not sure who to believe lol.

As for my genre tastes, I listen to a wide range. Classical to jazz, acoustic to metal and rock. I am hoping to find such a thing in either the Shure750DJ or some ultrasone or other set ive never used.
