I have the perforated earpads.. If I replace the pads I got better bass extension?
I dont have the stock ones...
The difference isn't huge. I would be happy with the perforated pads they sound more balanced and are more comfortable

What are the actual distortion measurements under a load that you are referring to? Thanks.Yes, I know. Your amp has distortion when working on low ohm load. There're two options: expensive - change an amp, inexpensive - get an impedance jack on aliexpress (I suggest 30ohm)

It was strange to me because I didnt heard about this from others..
and I heard this amp sounds good with the verums..
other adapter solve this?
Edit: I found one on aliexpress but it was 3.5mm and I need 6.5mm to connect this to my amp

As original pads I meant stock ones, without holes. yes.
Alternative pads I meant leather pads, perforated ones now in stock in the site for 35usd.
With stock pads the bass are more in quantity and impact and I'm quite sure Is possibile to hear the lower frequencies louder.

Very real phenomenon. I can't listen to verum or other low impedance planars with high volume on dragonfly red without getting massive distortion. With better amps there are no problems.Yes, I know. Then solder 0.5W 30 ohm resistor in cable ground. Any repair workshop can make this during 5 minutes.

What need to solder?
If you can explain me exactly, I thank you..
I need to buy this adapter?
@LogicSound Could you not test the headphones with some other amplifier, at a store maybe if you don't know of anyone with an amp?
I just noticed your are using liquid spark which is nothing like my tiny dragonfly.

You can't make a claim without measurements, just to be fair.

I’ll be testing out the Alpha pads and will give feedback once I get. Shipping is apparently very slow even though I’m in California.Any particular pads recommendations? I was considering the Alpha or Ori pads.
Great! In that case, I'll grab the Ori pads, probably. Unless you get the Alphas before thatI’ll be testing out the Alpha pads and will give feedback once I get. Shipping is apparently very slow even though I’m in California.
