Does anyone here have experience having a Verizon rep deactivate a phone and reactivating the same # on another phone during a contract? I just started a new 2-line family plan, and purchased two Samsungs to go with it because they were cheapest with rebate and buy-one-get-one free. Now that I'm using my new a670, I'm realizing that the sound quality/reception and wallpaper/tone upload isn't as great as on my old Verizon LG VX4600.

In any case, I'll go visit the Verizon rep next week. Gotta do some home improvement tmr

What you are doing is called an ESN change and all you need to do is call Verizon on a land-line phone (IIRC, their number is 1-800-922-0204) and ask for an ESN change. Or if you registered on their website to manage your account, you can log in and change your ESN there. There should be no issues at all with doing this. If for some reason you have any difficulties, feel free to PM me and I'll be happy to help you out. I sell Verizon Wireless where I work so I know my way around there.
