Hello fellow VE fans. If you didn't know it, VE recently released the Asura 2.0 earbuds. I just popped them in my ears. While it's too early for me to provide impressions, let's just say I immediately got a big, stupid grin on my face. I got my Zen 2.0 today. Please keep us posted about the sound compared to Zen.

How do they compare to the Monks? I really like the monks, received last week and while i think they are a phenomenal value they just needed a little less mid-bass and a sub-bass bump to sound more linear in the bass and tick all the boxes to me. So it really let me thinking about the others VE products and their bass performance.

I asked the question to Mr Lee and he told me that Free Monk is for Zen 2.0 only. Asura 2.0 does not come with Free Monk any longer.

Nope, no Monk with Asura. The Monk I had were traveling around the US with some other gear to let some of my headfi friends get a listen. Looks like they've gone AWOL, though.
