The best SQ is the limited edition with op amp SM627 for ca $ 950 USD
But the power is not enought to drive your LCD 2

Please try it directly with internal Typhoon amp , if you find enough power to drive LCD 2 than no need to buy external amp

hi guys, need some help... i was trying to plug in my soundroid typhoon to my macbook but it seems not working... just nothing happened... try restarted everything but still the same. My macbook can charge the soundroid typhoon but it is not using it as a USB DAC. Any idea? thanks...

Does anyone know where to get a replacement battery for the Soundroid Typhoon? 3.7V 3500 mAh with 3 wires? I'm at the stage where it does not hold a charge. Contacted VentureCraft with no response. Thanks.

Not sure if anybody still using this. My Typhoon keep blinking red light when use with Iphone as Dac/amp or green for very brief period. Work fine if use only as Amp.

Good question. Replacing the battery is technically an easy fix. Just need the proper spec. Too bad the battery is the weakest link to an otherwise wonderful device.

This is an older thread and not sure if anyone will see this but I am trying to find a battery replacement for the Soundroid Typhoon. Like the recent posts, the battery in mine has died making the Typhoon useless. If anyone has a link on a battery replacement I would much appreciate the help.
