Tomorrow I'm goin' to see "Van" at the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam.

I love "Van" and am really looking forward to it.

Last time I saw him was at "Carré" in Amsterdam.

The music was great, but "Van" was in one of his famous "not so good" moods...

I hope He is in a better mood tomorrow...

Enjoy, BigJohn ... when Van is on there is no one better. In fact, even when he is off, there are few better, so you are in for a treat

A music critic way back in the '70s wrote. "he's the best we have." Still true today, particularly on a St Patrick's day eve.

I know he is.
Even last time in "Carré" in Amsterdam he was fabulous!
Didn't look at us, didn't greet us, said no goodbyes, and gave no encore (?!)
But the music he and his band played was great!
Sometimes I wonder what it is with Van...
I guess he's just a genius!

It was great!!!
Way better than a couple of years ago in "Carré" when he played just songs from his new cd, "What's wrong with this picture?"
Fantastic performer, backed up by a fantastic band!
Played new songs as well as old ones.
Had a hell of a time!
If you get the chance, go see him!
Even if you think you don't like his music...
You'll love his music!
Van rules!

I defy someone to hate everything in Van Morrison's catalog. It's impossible if you ask me.

I have to agree with you on that one!

A colleague of mine had never heard of Van Morrison, and since he only listens to top 40 music, was not acquainted to that sort of music.
At first he didn't like it, until I played it a couple of times more to him.
Now he likes it more than he could ever imagine before.
And he is really no music lover.
Think of what could happen with someone who genuinely loves music!
