Who else is pumped that their album is dropping next week?

Ever since "Mansard Roof" was released back in October I've been eager to support these guys and get my hands on the full length album. Their sound is very unique and a breath of fresh air compared to most new artists in the last couple of years. If you haven't had the opportunity to hear them yet, hit up their myspace page and let me know what you think.

Didn't know anything about them until the last couple days, but saw some blog mentions highly recommending it as one of the best of this young year so far. Haven't had a chance to listen to anything yet, but based on the others listed as best so far on one blog I saw, (Black Mountain "In the Future", Bon Iver "For Emma, Forever Ago", Drive-By Truckers "Brighter Than Creation’s Dark") I'd pick it up for sure.

Keep us posted.

What a great album. Only $7.99 on amazon. No brainer.

oh your collegiate grief has left you dowdy in sweatshirts.

what an awesome album - it seems like a lot of the classic rock guys on this site could get into it also.

Saw them on SNL yesterday and loved it! Sorry to bump an old thread, but didn't want to start a new one. I will getting their CD for sure.

I didn't know they existed until I saw this thread. I gave them a few listens online and they are good. Just ordered their album.

Thanks, subtle, for another excellent Head-Fi recommendation! I've found so much good music here.

Interesting side-note for me - I had never heard of them until last month... my local library actually had the CD, if you could believe that! The AA kind of tipped me off that it might be my kind of music, so I took it out for a listen. Very good stuff, and definitely on my "buy" list...
