Hi
I've been hearing crackling and buzzing in my headphones on Vali 2 amp. What is weird is that this noise stops if I put the Vali 2 on some angle to the right, just tilt it about 30 degrees to the right. I figured out that it must be tube that's producing those sounds because everything else is solid state and doesn't care about its orientation.
Now, I am not much of an audiophile. Stock tube sounds normal to me. I want to buy new tube for it. Schiit replacement tube with transistors is 50 euros which is a lot for me. What tube would you recommend for me for under 50 euros? Main thing is that it should have a good life span and it shouldn't produce any crackling.
If that's not possible with tubes, maybe I should just buy solid state replacement for Vali 2 tube?
