Hello all
I need some help.I need to buy a new pair of phones so I've decided that I'll go with in ears. I've narrowed my choices to these two iems: the v-moda vibes and the shure e4, and I want to know how do they compare each other in terms of sq and overall quality. It would be nice if someone could make a comparison between those 2 and the Shure e3.

Thanks in advance for your time and help

The e3 is maybe the least-loved shure. The e4 is a lot more headphone than the vibe. If you want a budget choice, how about a crossroads mylarone X3 (available from Head-fi sponsor Jaben, look to the right on this screen), the fad from a month or two ago, AFAIK still holding the torch as top cheapo IEM.

Thanks for the info facelvega. What do you mean with "is a lot more headphone"? Do you mean sq?
How do the x3 compares with the vibes?

Come on guys I need your opinion.

seems pretty conclusive to me.

And the budget option: X3 x2!

I've listened to the X3s, and I have to say that they sound way better than they should, considering the price!

I auditioned them with a bunch of IEMs from UE and Westone, and I'd be lying if I said the X3s got owned, because they didn't. Of course I'm talking from a price-perfomance standpoint. Take facelvega's advice and talk to Jaben.
