The sound stage isn't huge, but it has both depth AND width like you're standing in a small club about 10 feet from the stage. A lot of people say the depth is deeper than the width is wide.

For me, the soundstage was a little larger than the Etymotics I have, so around average from my experience.

So compare to the Philip X2, the X2 just kill the M100 in term of soundstage?

Oh the X2 is open headphone? ?Damn I didn't know that.

They won't be the most comfortable, no. These aren't the most comfortable headphones in general. If you want comfort and portability with larger ears, I'd stick to single flange IEMs.

With XL pads I think M100 is comfortable. (Not with stock pads though.)  Some like in ears, some like full sized hp-s. Both have advantages and disadvantages.

Soundstage is very good for closed headphones. Do not expect the openness of an 'opened' back headphone though.

He said he has large ears. I didn't find them too comfortable with the XL pads, but they were better than the horrible standards.
Basically, they're still quite a bit more comfortable than my Etys, but still less comfortable than the Q701s with the masochist bumps on them. I don't have big ears, soooo.
Sound stage is above average for a closed headphone. It's not really special, but it's good.

Hey everyone, trying to figure out if these V-Modas are fake or not. Build quality is excellent but sound quality wasnt what I was expected -- still good but not as good as I had hoped.

^if you go the the V-MODA website and type in the number on the inside of the headphones it will tell you if they are fake- Fugazi.

On the Left side right above the "L" you will see a shiny sticker with a S/N followed by numbers.
