The LP2 is great for DnB, dubstep, and Electronic genres. The M-80 is a great all-rounder can for genres such as rock, metal, pop, alternative, etc.
Also, yes, the LP2 is more comfortable due to it being over-ear, although I find my M-80's plenty comfortable.

I have a large head so I'm worried using on ear headphones would cause fatigue after long periods (8+ hours)
I don't really listen to dubstep, but would the LP2 be better for hiphop music? How does the M-80 compare to Shure SE535?

Oh, and throw in the M-50 for comparison's sake as well.

I'm also asking myself this question.

LP2 doesn't fit fully around my ears so for me it's not quite circumaural/over the ear.
