V-MODA Crossfade LP or LP2?

In the near future I'm planning to buy some higher quality headphones than the ones I have been using (lower end Sennheisers) and Ive pretty much narrowed it down to these two. Obviously the LP2s are a little more expensive. I was wondering which ones were better for the price and just overall as headphones. 
 
Prices im looking at: 
 
LP: $120
LP2: $180

I would go for q40, 750dj or dt770. maybe pro 700mk2
