Hi
I'm deciding between the V moda crossfade lp or lp2 and the Beats Pro.  If you don't consider the vast price difference, which one sounds better?  I listen to rock, pop, alternative, rap, and some hip-hop.  I'm aware that there are much better sounding headphones out there, but I'm attracted to these because of there looks and durability.  So which one would you choose if price was irrelevant?  Thanks a lot for the help.

Well you mentioned durability so cross the Beats off your list. They are made of plastic and I heard they break easily. The Crossfades are made from metal and you can put them through a lot of stress on them without them breaking. As my first pair of headphones they're excellent. I tested a few before I made my purchase and the Crossfades were the best out of the ones I tried. These will also work for the music you listed. These headphones are more focused towards Bass but the sound quality still sounds good.
