Well, some of you probably remember me from awhile ago lol.
I've ordered the UE Super.fi 3's at Amazon.com at the end of September. However, I'm a bit worried about when it's going to come. I used super saver shipping and it's coming by USPS (United States Postal Service). The "Electronic Shipping Info Received" on the track&confirm page of USPS says they were notified on October 3rd (Wednesday). Right now it's October 6 (Saturday) and it still says "Electronic Shipping Info Recieved". The Amazon site says "Carrier notified to pick up package" and the status is "in transit". I always search forums or other sites before I post a thread and the other sites say USPS has a horrible tracking system (sometimes updating after you get the package). I just want to know if this is normal from others who have used USPS (NOT express or priority)? I know it's only been 3 days and the Amazon.com estimate says October 10-16, but the site not updating is freaking me out

Thanks in advance again

P.S. An estimate of when you think it will come would be appreciated
P.P.S Oh ya and UE Super.fi 3's package is small enough to fit into a mailbox right? I heard USPS sends small packages into mailboxes instead of ringing the door. What time do they usually come? The same as the normal mail?

I wouldn't worry too much about it. A lot of times it this happens.

It's hard to say when it will arrive because that depends on when USPS actually received the package, where you live in relation to the shipping center, and mail delivery in your area. I've found the amazon estimate to generally be accurate, so just be patient

As you have read, USPS does not have a tracking system per say, only delivery confirmation (and its sketchy at that).

I sell lots of items on eBay, only 1/10 ever actually updates with anything useful. Usually it just updates saying 'delivered' late at night on the day its delivered. I wouldn't worry about the package, i've found the USPS shipping itself to be very reliable. Knock on wood, they have yet to lose a single package of mine of the nearly 100-150 packages i ship with them a year, both first class and priority.

If it shipped on Wed, I would expect it to arrive somewhere between monday-wednesday of next week. Depends on how heavy the package is, but all first class mail under 11oz is shipped the same way as priority, 2-3 days anywhere in the country.

Also, amazon takes care of its customers so if it didn't arrive, Amazon would just ship another out fairly quickly, usually at an upgraded service. UPS lost an Amazon package of mine 3-4 years ago, coming UPS Ground. Amazon overnighted me a replacement that same day.

Depends on the size of your mailbox, but if it wont fit, they will usually just leave it on your doorstep if it dosen't fit. And at least around here, the normal mailman delivers it at his regular time.

In conclusion, I wouldn't worry one bit. It should arrive the beginning of next week, and if not, amazon's got your back.

Thanks for the replies, I feel much better now xD
I'll wait till the end of next week if it comes to that before calling Amazon. Also, I think it's shipping by parcel (or w/e the lowest one is) so it should take longer I guess

USPS tracking does not show up until the package has been delivered. This is one of the reasons I never ship USPS when I sell something here at Head-Fi. The other reason is that I can ship FedEx and UPS directly from the office. I would have to wait online at the USPS post office, and since no one is paying me for my time to go down there and leave work to do that, it's not worth it.
