Using the RSA Predator with a Laptop

I have a new Predator and Laptop,do I need to configure(alter any settings) in the Laptop when connecting the Predator via USB.
I will be playing music that was ripped to the laptop from CD's.

laptop should just see it as a USB Audio DAC, nothing to do, but enjoy the music

obviously set the input to USB and turn it on along with plugging in the USB cable

You could use ASIO4ALL though. Search it, easy to find.
