Hey, I currently have a pair of Panasonic HTF-600s in the mail. My experience with my equalizer has shown me that I really enjoy a V-shaped sound with my music, but I just found a good deal on a good pair of Sony V6's. I'm really temped to get them, as I hear they function really well as a neutral and decently high quality headphone. I feel like it would be the best of both worlds, as I could take advantage of the neutralness for some songs, while EQing for a V-shaped song when listening to metal/electronic.

Is it a waste to get a neutral headphone just to V-shape it, or would this work well?

(I have option to return the Panny unopened which I would probably take if I ended up getting a V6)
