Hey everyone

In my garage we have our old receiver and equalizer that we no longer use as we upgraded to some new equipment. They are from 1988 I believe but when we used them with the Yamaha speakers we had, they sounded excellent. I'm wondering, however, if I could set these two up just for my headphones and would they sound a great deal better than a PA2V2?

I have DT770/80 Pro 2003 cans, the receiver in question is a Yamaha AV-35. I don't remember the equalizer, however.
