My A7N8X-Deluxe has some crackle on the analog out. Is there some way to use the digital audio out if I get some type of converter or adapter?

Yes, you can use an outboard DAC. If you do a search you'll find reviews of many different kinds of DACs. The ART DI/O is popular on the low end. The Benchmark and Bel Canto DACs are popular on the high end.

Of course, the ART DI/O can be scaled to quite-high-end.

I'll be testing a MENSA DI/O in September; I look forward to seeing how it compares to my stock.
