Use AMP with AK320 or Buy a DAC/Amp combo?

I am fairly new in the audiophile world and I don't know what my next purchase should be. I currently own an AK320 DAP and a pair of Audeze LCD-XC headphones. I know I'm not getting all I should be out of these headphones. I can't afford to buy an Amp AND a DAC. I was looking at the Audeze Deckard DAC/Amp combo as well as some Schiit products. Since the AK320 is a DAC, I was looking at the Schiit Mjolnir 2 Amp.

If I go with the amp, I can upgrade and buy a desktop DAC with my bonus at Xmas. What are everyone's thoughts? I need some serious help. I am open to other options as well.

Are you looking for desktop or portable gear here? Sorry--just trying to clarify.

Desktop. Using my portable DAC would be a temporary fix until I could afford a desktop DAC (if I went with the amp).
