will be used with my pc X-Fi PLatinum and my incoming pair of K1000 for uber-gaming/music fun. notice it has a usb connection and an analog. should be interesting but if I am making a mistake lmk. there's a t-amp coming with the k1000 so I don't have to get an amp yet.

No clue as to the quality of course.

More interesting to me is the use of ebay by an entrepaneur in China to market directly to the USA and world market for that matter, avoiding the large markups of both the importer, and the local resaler. Of course there would be supreme difficulty having this item serviced, or even to get it working if it arrives DOA.

No clue obviously, there are few real details about the product demonstrated, but for 260 bucks, if it were nice, even if you had to find some better tubes, perhaps a worthy gamble.

alot of that asian gear is quite good for the money, but there are some turds in there as well, the little dot tube amps come to mind.. it's a gamble the seller has alot of good feedback at least. It seems a bit silly to use X-Fi as your source for 1000$ headphones though.

only sometimes lol. I also have a NAD T533 disc and a Nad T753 receiver which I am interested in trying the K1000 out on with the EARS setting.

The unit in the link is a copy of the Jasmine T-200. The Jasmine received good reviews and there is at least one dealer in North America. However the unit you are thinking off did not get positive reviews, in addition it only has 5 watts per channel and I believe the K1000 needs at least 9 or 10.

Jasmine has an updated amp out which puts out 11 wpc. Do a search and you will find it. Good luck.

Ah... I should have posted in this thread. Could you post a comparison with your other phones when you start using the K1000 with the X-Fi, especially with CMSS-3D? I'm just curious.

Hi Splif

The updated Jasmine sure looks nice though....

Any idea when the US dealer might have it in stock?

Out of curiosity, what is he selling it for?

Regards

USG
