All, what are members using these days for USB regeneration from the USB of a laptop or PC? Is USB Regen still one of the better cost-benefit options and is the general consensus that they make a difference?

Not here . I have tested a bunch of them and none make a difference objectively or subjectively to my ears. Here is my data on ISO Regen for example: https://audiosciencereview.com/foru...ptone-iso-regen-review-and-measurements.1829/

I also tested the original Regen to same effect. And Audioquest jitterbug.

If the DAC is a good one and done properly, one doesn't need these regen devices. For example these would be useless with the ADI-2 Pro.

W4S Recovery is the best vs price/perf ratio.
Powered by a linear PS, it is much much better than using its wall wart PS. Anyway it should not be used with its wall wart PS.
