I had been happily using my custom DAC plug and play until the 1809 update came out. The windows stopped recognizing my device and therefore I found no solution for the problem I put it apart. Lately I needed to reinstall the system, chose the 1607 hoping that I can use my device again but still got the same issue.
Any recommendation?

1903 came out recently, could try updating to that.

Very likely the USB controller chip isn't support, broken, or similar. What does your device manager report?

Just updated for that, still got the same error: Unknown USB device. (Device description request failed)
