USB-C to 3.5mm adapters (DAC) - Let's find the best

A large number of android devices resamples all audio to 48Khz. Some devices do so even with a USB DAC/Dongle.

Other devices such as DAPs and some Samsung devices (I think) as well as apps such as USPP bypasses this and does "bit perfect".

Android 14 plans to remove this resampling for USB devices
If you have Usb Audio Player Pro, don't need Android 14, right ?

Yep, I suppose the primary audience would be people who use streaming apps

UAPP only provides bit perfect output for certain apps. And even for Qobuz, which it supports, it's a compromise. You can't download and listen bit-perfect with it, for example.

What are your opinions regarding the Tanchjim Space Lite? I bought it for a portable lightweight but premium source for my earbuds. So far very pleased. The power is quite something as well. Mainly chose this for its small size and sufficient power delivery. Fixed cable eliminates the hassle of managing the cable also (but comes with the risk of permanent damage, I know.)

For those interested I started the comparison between the W1, DC04PRO, M15, RU6 and RU7. It's actually not a real comparison but my impressions of these dongles and the various positive aspects you can expect from using them. I opened a special thread so as not to congest this and others relating to individual dongles. As I have availability, I will insert the comments relating to the dongles that have not yet arrived.

Why create a new topic when this one exists ?

Because posting both in the RU6 and RU7 thread and in the W1 and W4 some had asked me to make a comparison between the dongles I had purchased and in order not to mess up all the threads I decided to open a specific one for the comparison.

I have one in for review and I've been pleasantly surprised by how capable it is for the price.

Just got DC04 pro, my first impression is the lovely black background with sensitive IEMs on both 3.5 and 4.4 plugs, I have a question: does the DC04 pro store its configuration by itself? I use it mainly with my Windows Laptop and I have an old Android Phone that can configure it, thanks!
