If you don't need native dsd and dsd 256x then don't. I'm sure they'll bring out a new firmware upgrade soon

 

What happens when you try to play dsd without update? It is a big fickup if it can't do stuff they promise out of the box

 

For me native dsd would just not work. Only dsd over pcm. Which is the same in quality, just no dsd 256x

 

Did the update bring any sound improvements or it is just support for native dsd

Does anyone know how well does DC01 measure?

 

I have a Shanling M1 and used the DC01 with it. The M1 has a 950mAh battery and it lasted a little under 2hrs. This was with Bluetooth on as I used HibyLink feature to control the M1 from my phone with the M1 in my pocket. Given the M5 has a 550mAh battery I think the one hour estimation is just about right. The DC01 gave my M1 a reason for me to use it again and the pairing with NX7 is absolutely fantastic to my ears.

 

Am I right to assume the DC01 will work with the Hidizs AP80?

 

So in summary what is the best one for reasonable money USB-C to 3.5mm adapter ?

Yes, I agree to that but the autonomy... It leaves much room to be desired. What is the DC01 charging time?

Anyone can compare the sound quality of the Meizu Hi-Fi DAC Pro vs Ibasso DC01? I use 3.5 and don't go balanced. If the DC01 is much better in sound I'll go for it and get myself a balanced cable.
