You must exclude the app from battery optimization.
I excluded yesterday, but get same result. I even tried with adaptive battery function turned off.

Often, you need to turn it on globally and then exclude it. At least that's how it works on the OnePlus.
What you mean, when you say globally?
OK, I will try and let you know results.

Thanks

So I have to choose between Spotify and UAPP? Does anyone else have this problem and is there a way to stop it?

I'm not sure what you mean. If you connect the DAC and Android asks which app to use, you just choose nothing and use the back button to ignore it. Once you use UAPP with it, you may have to disconnect and reconnect the DAC.

Like Mickey, I am also using the Uapp app with an Android TV box. I had no problems downloading it in the app store.
BTW, so far it's working but I am having some minor issues.

He he. Music Server on the cheap. Add an LPS and USB reclocker/isolator and you're done!

I have a very basic Tanix TX8 Android TV. I haven't done any firmware upgrades to it and have Play Store on it. After learning about UAPP from Mickey, I tried to load and pay for the app. I was successful.
I am on Android 5.

There is another user, Bad Monkey, who is using the app with a Zidoo box. So it sounds like it's probably something at your end.

Really? You can't download from Play Store? Or maybe Play Store need to be installed?

What is your android TV and firmware?
